Gentlemen, a gift from the past. This is an electronic cover I made a couple of years ago of one of my favourite songs by Iron & Wine. It’s called “Cinder & Smoke”.

I have a little project that I’ve been working on in my spare time that involves me making covers of songs in a way they’re not usually heard, usually by adding synth to them. I call this project “Tape Echo”. This is separate from my Fivetone material. I hope you gents don’t mind if I have more than one moniker on here. I like to compartmentalize.

That being said, I’m glad there’s been a little flurry of activity here at thegovv, and that I can be a part of it. Let’s keep this ball rolling, shall we?
